一、什么时候用一般过去时

表示过去某个时间发生的动作或存在的状态:
I visited my uncle yesterday. (我昨天看望了叔叔。)
I was at home yesterday. (昨天我在家。) -
表示过去经常或反复发生的动作:
He often went swimming last summer. (去年夏天他常去游泳。)
二、常见时间标志词(可让学生直接在课本上圈出)
- yesterday (昨天) / the day before yesterday (前天)
- last night / week / month / year (昨晚 / 上周 / 上个月 / 去年)
- … ago (…以前):two days ago, a moment ago
- just now (刚才)
- in + 过去的年份:in 2010
- this morning(当说话时已过早上)
三、be 动词的过去式

句型变化与一般现在时 be 动词相同:否定在 was/were 后加 not,疑问句将 was/were 提到主语前。
四、实义动词的四种核心句式(以 play 为例)
- 肯定句:主语 + 动词过去式 + 其他。
He played football yesterday. - 否定句:主语 + didn’t + 动词原形 + 其他。
He didn’t play football yesterday. - 一般疑问句:Did + 主语 + 动词原形 + 其他?
Did he play football yesterday? - 特殊疑问句:疑问词 + did + 主语 + 动词原形 + 其他?
What did he play yesterday?
关键口诀:did / didn’t 一出现,后面动词打回原形。
重点难点解析
难点1:动词过去式的变化规则
规则变化(课堂上可让学生用“一加二改三双写四变Y”来记):
- 一般情况下,直接加 -ed:play → played, visit → visited
- 以不发音的 e 结尾,加 -d:like → liked, live → lived
- 重读闭音节且末尾只有一个辅音字母,双写词尾辅音字母再加 -ed:stop → stopped, drop → dropped
- 以“辅音字母 + y”结尾,变 y 为 i 再加 -ed:study → studied, carry → carried
不规则变化(小学阶段高频词需逐个记住):
- go → went, do → did, have → had, eat → ate
- see → saw, take → took, buy → bought, get → got
- read → read (读音变化,形不变), put → put, let → let
- swim → swam, run → ran, sing → sang, drink → drank
难点2:时态判断与句式转换
学生在描述“上个周末做了什么”时,最常见的错误是时态判断对,但句子结构错。例如想表达“我昨天没做作业”,会错写成:I wasn’t do my homework yesterday.
正确结构必须用 didn’t + 动词原形:I didn’t do my homework yesterday.
同样,一般疑问句错例:Did you watched TV? → 应改为:Did you watch TV?
记住:Did 后面管原形,过去式只留在肯定句。
典型例题与易错点
易错点1:be 动词和实义动词混淆
错句:I was went to the park.
析:was 后不能再接过去式,应去掉 was,改为 I went to the park.
或者:I was at the park yesterday. (表示状态)
易错点2:时间标志词已暗示却忘记变时态
错句:He reads a book yesterday.
正:He read a book yesterday.
易错点3:不规则动词过去式写错
常错:go → goed (应 went), eat → eated (应 ate), see → seed (应 saw)
